Janet Krueger, LVT

Janet is a Licensed Veterinary Technician who has been with Countryside Veterinary Clinic since September of 1989. She enjoys helping and caring for pets and their owners.

Janet is married to Duke, a school teacher, and they have two children, Shannon and Luke. The kids are both in college now so it’s a little quieter at home.  They live on a hobby farm raising many different animals along with honey bees.   Additionally they have:

  • Boomer – a retriever mix that loves to hunt pheasants and geese and go be wherever the family is.
  • 2 cats – Pipper and Woody – that love catnip as their favorite treat.

Janet enjoys outdoor activities such as biking, skiing, snow shoeing, hiking, hunting grouse, bow hunting and camping.

Of course – she loves the Green Bay Packers!

Mindi Koethe, CVT

Mindi has been employed at Countryside Veterinary Clinic as a Certified Veterinary Technician since March of 1999. She graduated from the Medical Institute of Minnesota with an Associate of Applied Science Degree in Veterinary Technology.  She is our Lead Surgery Technician and she does a great job!

Mindi and her husband, Jim, have 2 sons: Joshua and Kyle.  Mindi’s family shares their home with:

  • Lady – is a 6 year old Boston Terrier Mix.  Her nickname is "Rocket Dog" and loves to play fetch.
  • Max – is a 2 year old Great Dane Mix adopted from Coco’s Heart Dog Rescue.  Max's official title is "Best Dog Ever".  He loves his kids and a favorite activity is chasing Lady.
  • Jozee -  is a 13 year old Domestic Shorthair cat with poydactyl feet (extra toes).  She used to be rather aloof with people now, but now is learning they are nice and can pet her!
  • Little Man – is a 12 year old Domestic Shorthair cat.  He is the “Best Kitty Ever”! He is excellent with Mindi’s small children and tolerant of anything they do to him. And he loves his momma!
  • Hayley - is a 1 year old Domestic Shorthair cat.  She loves "her Josh" and playing with Timber.
  • Timber - is a year old Domestic Shorthair cat.  He loves "his Kyle" and playing with Hayley.
  • Hopper - is a 4 year old Mini Lop Rabbit - he is super sweet and gets to "hop" anywhere in the basement.
  • Bullet - is a 25 year old pony - he loves his kids. The neighbor girl says he looks like a unicorn!

Amidst the busy family and pets - Mindi enjoys camping, cooking, gardening, snowmobiling, hiking, and spending as much with her family as she can.  Making family memories is very important!  Mindi cheers on the Wisconsin Badgers and the Green Bay Packers along with the Nebraska Corn Huskers.

Beth Renstrom, CVT

Beth joined the Countryside staff in April of 2005. She graduated from Argosy University in October of 2002 and is a Certified Veterinary Technician.

Beth shares her home with:

Ophelia & Gilbert - 11 & 10 year old Miniature Schnauzers who believe they are in charge and like ruling over the other dogs.

Lyra - a 6 year old Irish Wolfhound who would be content if every single person in the world would just pet her and never stop.

Ravensara - a 1 year old Irish Wolfhound puppy who rolled into the world thinking everyone was here just for her.  She suffers from no self-esteem issues but is the sweetest girl.  She is an expert at winning over anyone she meets, and if she doesn't, she will jump up and put her paws on their shoulders or shirt front to convince them.

Aubrey - a 5 month old Irish Wolfhound puppy.  Aubrey is an independent little lady who loves to play with Ravensara, play int he kiddie pool and climb into Beth's lap when she finds she has time in her busy day to be petted.

And last but not least - 2 blind hamsters.

In her spare time, Beth spends a lot of time with her dogs.  She takes daily walks with them in the country at various places and loves photographing them and nature.  Beth competes in some dog shows and lure coursing with her Irish Wolfhounds along with many educational and community events each year.  She sits on the board and does the website and newsletter for the local Northstar Irish Wolfhound Club along with coordinating their fun events for members and those interested in the breed.  Beth also manages her own website for her dogs using the many photographs she takes and also enjoys wood carving.

Alisha Haglund, CVT

Alisha is one of our Certified Veterinary Technicians, and became a member of the Countryside Veterinary Clinic staff in 2006. Alisha lives with her son, Aven, and her pets:

  • Brenna – a Chihuahua that can be found curled up under any blanket
  • Bregetta – a gray Domestic Longhair cat that is very adventurous – she is always into something!
  • Brooklyn – a tortoiseshell Domestic Shorthair cat that is playful and affectionate – very independent and a “food hog”

Alisha enjoys spending time with her family, watching movies, spending time outside, going for walks, playing sports with Aven, exploring states parts and reading.  Alisha also loves to volunteer her time fostering pets for Coco’s Heart Dog Rescue.

Go Vikings! – even when the rest of my family is in Green and Yellow.

Testimonial

I have taken my pets (dogs) and cat for the last 12 years to Countryside. Everyone in the place shows concern and caring for my pets well being. They have proven to me over and over that they deserve my loyalty.
