Brian Keller, DVM

Dr. Brian Keller was born and raised in Medford, Minnesota. He attended pre-veterinary medicine at the University of Wisconsin – River Falls. While there he was involved in various clubs as well as varsity wrestling. He entered Veterinary School at the University of Minnesota graduating in 1990. He has been a member of the Countryside Veterinary Clinic team ever since. His veterinary interests include orthopedic and soft tissue surgery, dermatology, and ophthalmology.   While Dr. Keller spends most of his time in the clinic working with small animal clients, he also enjoys working with our farming community.

Dr. Keller and his wife, Debbie, have 2 children, Jon and Kathryn.  Debbie just retired in 2020 from her teaching career at the River Falls Middle School, Jon works in the IT field in Eden Prairie and Kat lives in Denver, Colorado working as a CNA.

Dr. Keller and Debbie have a full house of pets:

Hope – Yorkshire Terrier who is the boss and "in charge" of all the other pets in their home!
Harli – Yellow Lab - she is everybody's friend.
Mikey & Pebbles – 17 year old litter mates.  Pebbles is the snuggler and loves to cuddle up, whereas Mikey demands his attention each night!

Dr. Keller enjoys most outdoor activities including hunting, fishing including ice fishing, gardening, biking, bee keeping and water skiing. He sure likes to stay busy! He also helps out with the youth wrestling programs in New Richmond. Dr. Keller can also be seen spending time with his family! He enjoys watching sports as well, his favorite teams include the Minnesota Twins, Viking and Gophers.
